Azkario Rizky Pratama attended Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, for an undergraduate program at the Faculty of Engineering in 2008. He was awarded a Fast-track scholarship, a bachelor-master double degree program, three years later. He received a Bachelor of Engineering (Sarjana Teknik) and Master of Engineering (M.Eng) in 2012 and 2013, respectively.
He pursued a PhD program at the Bernoulli Institute, the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, supervised by Prof. Marco Aiello and Prof. Alexander Lazovik. His research interests include context-awareness, pervasive and mobile computing, occupancy detection, and electric load identification. During his PhD, he joined EU FIRST Project under H2020-MSCA-RISE-2016 program. In 2020, he was awarded a PhD for a thesis on the Office Occupancy Detection based on Power Meters and BLE Beaconing.
